A guide on how to tip in North America by Jennifer Ormiston, Canada

This one goes out to all my server friends who know exactly how I feel, and to all those people that don’t know how to tip.



Jennifer is a 22-year old living in Waterloo, Ontario. She is a recent graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University graduating with an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Global Studies. She is an avid traveler that hopes to hit every continent by age 25. She has recently traveled to Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand on a solo backpacking trip and is in the works of planning a Europe trip this coming Spring. Jennifer hopes to attend a Canadian university for Urban Planning and Development, which will hopefully allow her to work anywhere in the world.
