Summer time

I know I’ve been MIA for a while, and the last time I blogged was probably around exam time. What have I been up to since then? Well, for starters, I moved. I’m now living in a nice big apartment building still minutes away from school. I’ve also been working, trying to get around 40 hours a week. I’m also in summer school. I just finished the first 6 week session of summer class and needless to say I’m glad it’s over. I am still enrolled in an online class that goes until the end of July (which reminds me I need to start that paper…). In two weeks I’m going to be starting another 6 week class part 2 of Spanish. I recently chose my classes for September and I’m extremely excited about it.

Unfortunately, since I’m subletting for the summer, I’m still looking for a place to live in September. I’m hoping a lot of places become available in August because I really don’t want to have to move home for my last semester, especially with my schedule (which sucks!).

This summer so far has been great, we’ve had some great weather but I’m hoping for some more sun and a little less rain. I’m looking forward to finishing my summer classes (just in time to start my last semester). I’m also looking forward to planning my trip to Asia in the Winter. My family is getting ready to purchase the tickets to singapore within the next few weeks and I could not be more excited. It will definitely be an adventure I’ll never forget. Before I can even get to that point I have SO much to do. I really need to start looking into what I want to specialize in when doing my masters. I’m currently debating whether or not I want to specialize in Water Resource Management or Development and Sustainability (both are great choices). The decisions that I need to make in the next few months are so important.

Even though these next few months are going to be stressful, I could not be more excited about it. I’m going to embark on new adventures and reach milestones, I cannot wait, and I’m so excited to share these experiences with my friends and family.

For now, I’m going to focus on the present, enjoy the weather (even though it’s a little wet), work hard in school, work hard at work and of course enjoy the summer!

Until next time,
