Over the last couple of weeks I have finalized that I will be able to graduate a semester early! GOOD…right?
Well that’s the thing I don’t really know. I’ve been changing my mind a lot lately about what I want to do. I know for a fact that I want to travel Asia after I graduate. I also want to do my master’s – I’ve recently been thinking a lot about what I should do my master’s in… Right now, I’m set on my MJ (Master’s of Journalism), but I’ve also been thinking about a Master’s of Geography, and also Master’s of International Studies.
Here’s the real question… How will doing my Master’s in any of the above help me, in terms of getting a job where I can travel? And what Master’s program will help me do that best?
The thing is I know I want to write. Whether or not I can make it as a journalism is beyond my control and I should probably start doing something about it now. I would really like to write articles for the school paper. I also would love to travel and learn about different cultures, I’m so intrigued by the world and I want to learn as much as I can. Beginning a career that would allow me to do that would be my absolute dream.
I am such an indecisive person, ask my boyfriend! If there were two options on a menu I wouldn’t be able to decide between the two! I always have second thoughts and I just want to accomplish everything. If I could do my Master’s in Geography, Journalism AND International Studies at the same time I probably would.
I also wish I could afford to do my Master’s in a different country – international fees are absolutely ridiculous so that’s out of the question.
It’s scary to think that in less than a year I will be DONE my undergraduate degree.
Until Next Time,
